Simon Mirelman, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Meet the Doctor:

Dr. Simon Mirelman is a native of Santiago, Chile. He received his medical training at the University of Chile School of Medicine. He completed fellowships in Barcelona, Spain and Germany. Dr. Mirelman completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified by the American board of Urology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of multiple medical societies. He has served as principle investigator on several research projects and is well published on urological issues. Dr. Mirelman is currently Chief of Urology and the Director of the Urodynamics Center at HealthSouth Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
